“We may define therapy as a search for value.” ~Abraham Maslow
MAGGIE GLENN, LMSW
Every person is on a unique journey of self-discovery and personal growth. The only true comparison we can make is to the person we were yesterday, not the person next door. Sometimes it can be helpful to have a therapist assist you in developing a stronger sense of identity and an individual roadmap of growth towards becoming your best self. My focus is to help you develop your individual sense of self, purpose, and values. My goal is to assist you in finding your own inner peace and satisfaction. I utilize a strength-based, person-centered approach in therapy and utilize a variety of treatment modalities to best meet your needs. I have experience working with children, adults, and families in a variety of environments and therapeutic approaches. My goal is to meet you where you our in life and help you grow to where you want to be.
I graduated from the University of Kansas with an undergraduate and Master’s degree in social Work. I have an extensive background in work with children and families including: elementary school counseling, early head start family and child educator, therapist at a children’s psychiatric hospital, and in private practice. One of my favorite aspects of therapy is helping others identify, find, and achieve their personal values. This helps provide meaning and structure in life while finding direction and hope. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
