"Feelings of worth can flourish only in an atmosphere in which individual differences are appreciated, love is shown openly, mistakes are used for learning, communication is open, rules are flexible, responsibility is modeled, and honesty is practiced.”

~Virginia Satir

SARAH KEEGAN, LICENSED MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPIST

About Sarah

I see it as my role to be attentive to your past and present while holding space for your fears and hopes of the future. I work with clients to challenge worn-out narratives and rules that lead to shame, incongruence, and a critical inner dialogue. Our past experiences can keep us guarded and wary of trusting others. I strive to create a space that fosters curiosity, compassion, and authenticity as we take the time we need to build our relationship.

It doesn't always feel comfortable to talk about our pain, especially if we’ve never had a safe place to do so. For this reason, I invite all aspects of your world and interests into the therapy room. You have likely already found creative ways to cope, some more helpful than others, and we can continue to expand on your resources in the work we do.

I graduated with my master's degree from K-State's Couple and Family Therapy Program in 2022. I’m currently licensed as a marriage and family therapist (LMFT) in Kansas by the BSRB. I am working under the supervision of Nathan Croy (LCMFT, LCAC).

Sarah offers a sliding scale (up to 150 /hr), accepts private pay, and the following insurances:

  • Humana
  • Cigna
  • Aetna
