TIFFANY RENSBERGER, MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPY INTERN
Whatever has you seeking therapy is part of your story and therefore part of our collective human experience. If you’re brave enough to share it, I’ll be a person willing to hold it with you till it feels more manageable.
My background of working in residential treatment for teens has made me fluent in sarcasm and calm in crisis. In my direct care staff and substance abuse counseling roles, I have worked with youth struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, attachment disorders, autism spectrum, self harm and substance use disorders. I have been a credentialed substance abuse counselor on the Missouri side for the past 5+ years and am going into my second year as a student of marriage and family therapy at Friends University in Kansas.
I have come to love viewing life and therapy through the lens of the enneagram. As an enneagram 9, I enjoy the playful experience of working with younger kiddos; but I also love mediating and seeing all sides of problems and conflicts in adults, couples, and families.
In my free time you can catch me doing HIIT workouts, drinking too much coffee, yelling at my cat, and being the “fun aunt” to the very best nieces and nephews here on earth.
I am completing my student internship under the license of a Friends University Program Supervisor and under the site mentorship of Nathan D. Croy, LCMFT (KS #2791), LCAC (KS #00760) and LMFT (MO #2021036987)
