Job details
Existential Family Therapy (ExFT) currently has openings for therapists. ExFT clinicians provide outpatient services in a private practice setting to individuals and families who are experiencing varying levels of life situations and/or mental health concerns. Clients will present in all ages and issues with non-violent and non-severe affects/concerns. Providers can choose their populations and hours are flexible. ExFT will provide marketing, billing needs, and follow-up with insurance and clients in the event it steps outside of the therapeutic outlet.
Our office manager coordinates intake scheduling and ensures paperwork and insurance is completed. ExFT can also help you get credentialed with insurance panels and/or bill incident:to*. We allow generous latitude to implement your chosen theory with professional support and referrals.
We offer our therapists, referrals, clerical services, insurance billing, office space, and a warm, professional, supportive environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducts initial assessments, including diagnosis, of new and existing clients
- Develops a plan of treatment that is recovery-oriented and tailored to the specific needs of the client for whom it is written
- Conducts individual, family, and/or group psychotherapy using evidence-based techniques employed in a manner consistent with ethical standards of practice
- Cooperates and collaborates with other members of the team in a manner which promotes the growth and healthy development of clients served and the practice as a whole
- Maintains the clinical record according to agency and insurance standards and system requirements for each consumer assigned
- Appropriately plans for and coordinates continuity of care of clients
- Receive training on the EHR software.
*Free insurance paneling is dependent on maintaining contractual work 6 months after credentialing is approved. Successful incident-to billing is dependent on existing insurance contracts and limitations.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree
- Experience providing individual and family therapy
- Independent clinical licensure
- Able to pass a background check
- Willing to be a self-starter
