JORDAN WARD, COUNSELING INTERN
I am a student working toward my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology at the University of Saint Mary. I am pursuing my licensure as a licensed clinical psychotherapist in the state of Kansas. I am a student by nature, meaning I am always learning and growing by taking in the world around me. I find myself typically leaning toward a cognitive behavioral orientation because of how the relationship between our thoughts and behaviors influences our daily lives. I have experience with CBT and DBT. My
goal is to help others to live a more authentic life.
About me: I grew up in a smaller town in Kansas and moved to Kansas City in 2017 with my spouse. I love to do crafts, go for walks outdoors, and spend time with my kids. I have always wanted a career where I could help others and I am so excited for this opportunity.
The rate for interns is 40.00 per session and cannot be billed to insurance.
Jordan is completing her student internship under the license of a University of Saint Mary program supervisor and is supervised by Christopher Pressler, LPC 04304.
